After over a year of negotiations, the rumors have surfaced that hip hop supergroup Slaughterhouse has finally signed to Eminem’s Shady Records. The deal took over a year to complete and was held up by Koch Distribution before an inevitable buyout happened this month.
Slaughterhouse consists of MCs of Joe Budden, Crooked I, Royce Da 5’9 and Joell Ortiz. The group started the rumors when they showed up behind Eminem in Drake’s “Forever” video. They are already in the studio with Eminem working on their second album.
Eminem has mentioned in the past months that he would like to rebuild Shady Records and is signing new artists. As of today, there is no mention of Slaughterhouse on Shady Records website.
