Faulkner Reveals Another Taste of REVANCHIST EP

reduced

Alt-Rock/Pop newcomers Faulkner have released yet another track off of their hotly anticipated REVANCHIST EP, this time in the form of a dark, retributive pop song entitled “Waters Are A Rising”.

REVANCHIST, which is French for “someone who advocates revenge,” is an epic collage of interconnected concepts addressing retribution, hustling, and dislocated youth (inspired by frontman Lucas Asher’s time spent as an orphaned teenager on the streets of Brooklyn).

The Aesthetic Announce Debut EP; Release “Come Home To Me” Single

FullShotaesthetic

Seattle alternative rock newcomers, The Aesthetic have released their debut single “Come Home To Me“. The single comes off the upcoming five track EP, Abandoned Homes set to release March 4th on all digital retailers.

“The song is a finale of a three part story about a girl with mental illnesses fighting to keep her head above water until it becomes too much. This finale is about her significant other wishing he could take back everything and coming to terms with the fact that she’s gone,” commented, guitarist, Michael Neil.

Come Home To Me” is available as “name your price” through the The Aesthetic’s Bandcamp page. Listen to the new track below.

About The Aesthetic:

Forming out of rainy Seattle in January of 2015, The Aesthetic has quickly set their sights on becoming one of the leaders in the newest wave of Pacific Northwest alternative rock bands. When the idea of the band was floating around in the head of vocalist Michael, he went to Zac of Pravitas Studios to ask for his help with writing the instrumentation that was softer than Michael’s old band Projections. The duo forms the backbone of The Aesthetic as it stands today, all the while the search for a live band has continued for this currently online project. The duo is shown at their strongest on their lead single “Come Home To Me,” which is off the forthcoming March 4th debut EP entitled Abandoned Homes. The five track EP is sure to worm itself into listeners’ ears and stay trapped in their head long after the initial listening experience. This along with the band’s hard work will see the band leaping into venues all over the Pacific Northwest in 2016.

Society 1 Releases “I Can’t Feel” Music Video

pic

Society 1 has released a music video for their track “I Can’t Feel” from their album Rise From The Dead. The video was directed and edited by singer Matt Zane of Lord Zane Productions (John 5, Wayne Static, Zakk Wylde, DMC, Orgy). The song was Produced & Mixed by Alex Crescioni at Stygian Sound and Mastered by Maor Appelbaum at Maor Appelbaum Mastering.

When I direct our own videos it’s always a challenge considering I have to jump in front and behind the camera. This video was the most difficult out of all the Society 1 videos because not only did I have to perform but imagine what was going on in the scene. Everything was done on green screen so I was just trying to think about what it was supposed to look like. When I brought it into editing the real challenge began attempting to create what I envisioned. A very cool creative experience. We’re going to concentrate in the realm of complete manifestations of worlds and environments for further video’s to bring the music that much farther. We want every sound and visual to really capture the full spectrum of the viewers imagination.Matt Zane (Society 1)

Me Like Bees Share “Tundraland” Music Video

melikebeespromo

Indie rock quartet Me Like Bees has released an imaginative new music video for their single “Tundraland”, off the upcoming EP  There Will Be Time. The video follows a mischievous young pup (played by the band’s vocalist Luke Scheafer) and his day on the town which results in some potentially serious consequences.

We enjoy humiliating Luke, so we came up with the idea of putting him in a dog costume,” says guitarist Pete Burton (who also plays the story’s villainous dog catcher). “It was a pretty fun shoot! I pulled my hamstring though…it took like two weeks to heal. It was a bad pull!

Me Like Bees worked with award-winning producer John Feldmann (5 Seconds of SummerThe UsedPanic! At The Disco) on There Will Be Time and will release the record on April 8th.
