Hailing from the eighties, Midas Hutch is the latest character moving in new-school disco, electro and funk. The alter ego of the Amsterdam producer FS Green has released his first official single ‘The High’! Feat. Bluey Robinson.
“The High” is a unique slammer that brings a feeling of the heydays when New Jack Swing sounds took the Eighties and Nineties by storm. Midas Hutch fuses his production techniques of hip-hop and pop with the contemporary R&B sound of London sensation Bluey Robinson. Midas remarks, “Bluey has been one of my favorite R&B vocalists from the UK for some years now. I wanted to create something you can listen to in your car, cruising with your boo with the top down. As well as a song you could get down to in the club.” With characteristic remixes or TeeFlii, Jeremih and Dej Loaf all getting early airplay in the UK, Midas Hutch is moving into 2016 with a mission to move pop music back to the cool side of town.
