REMARK is a alternative band from Moscow, Russia.

At the beginning of 2015, the band released their “Wild Run” debut video single, a gloomy thriller with elements of classical blues and alternative rock. The main character was played by Victoria Chernysheva, an actress of Russian theater and cinema, whose colorful performance revealed all sides of insanity.

At the beginning of 2016, REMARK with Kuper Kukunchikov(METAMORPHOSIS Production) released two new music videos; the first one, “Falling,” brought REMARK to national attention and pushed them to the next level, winning the “Ultra Music” radio contest and a performance on Russian TV. In 2016 they appeared in rotation on many internet radio stations, and performed on many major Russian radio stations such as the RSNL!FEMAXIMUM live.

The second video, “Vesna,” was a perfect collaboration of REMARK with the founder of METAMORPHOSIS Production. “Vesna” not only turned into a YouTube hit, but also has opened doors to TV as, in March 2016, “Vesna” has appeared on RUSSIAN MUSICBOX.

REMARK has shared the stage with several international acts as SLASH (Guns N’ Roses) and Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge), Tom Keifer (Cinderella), W.A.S.P.DOPE, and many others. In 2016, REMARK also toured throughout Russia in support of their debut album.

Fear Control Release New Video “Masks”

Austin, TX-Metal artists Fear Control release their newest video. “Masks” is the latest single off Fear Control’s 2015 EP titled The Monster. Vocalist and guitarist Kash Sarkaria had this to say about the video:
“This song is about one of the toughest times in my life with a a long-term relationship ending and just coming to the realization that it was time to move on, whether we wanted to or not. For the video, I randomly found this location under a bridge in Austin and loved it so much that we did our band photo shoot here as well as the music video. I just love the juxtaposition of light and dark and the endless pillars in the background. We got it all done in an afternoon, despite 20+ takes. But we couldn’t be happier with the final result.”

Benchmarks Releases Latest Single “Let You Down”

Nashville-based indie punk band Benchmarks released their debut full-length Our Undivided Attention on March 24th via SofaBurn Records, hear their latest single “Let You Down”. The song attempts to be a much needed reminder that we could all be a bit kinder to one another, while the lyrics also paint a picture of a city that has become overgrown and has started to lose its small town charm.

The idea for this song came after a friend called me out on something I said that I, perhaps, didn’t think through,” says vocalist Todd Farrell Jr., who also pulls double duty as the lead guitarist for the Columbus punk band Two Cow Garage. “We all build our own ‘houses’ around ourselves based on the way we see the world, but it doesn’t mean that the rest of the world outside doesn’t exist. Basically, we all need to try a little harder to be kind. I used the backdrop of a rapidly developing city (like Nashville, where we live) to tell the story of tearing our neighbors down to build ourselves up, and how maybe that’s not the best way to treat people. Jack [Whitis] came up with most of the musical ideas in this one. He’s got a talent for writing ‘misdirection’ parts, as I call them. Melodic ideas that don’t go where you think they’re going to go, but in a very satisfying way.

Our Undivided Attention immediately follows The American Night EP, released in June 2015 and was mixed by Jay Maas (Defeater, Transit, Polar Bear Club, Make Do And Mend) and produced by the band themselves. Listen to the album’s first single “Frames” on Spotify.
