Free Free Dom Dom Release ‘Be’ EP via Bishops Bloc Records

Berlin indie dance duo Free Free Dom Dom have crafted a swirling twirling future pop masterpiece that has you hitting repeat to no end. Lead singer Little Voice reminds us that nobody is telling this girl who or what she can “be” while partner Phil backs her up vocally and instrumentally in all the right places. Midway through the song things take a darker turn and this is exactly where Fear The Priest’s industrial tinged gothic techno remix takes off. Start your day off with the original and start your night off with the remix because this release has moods for all occasions.

Free Free Dom Dom is a Berlin-based duet formed by Little Voice and Philippe Duval, 2 years ago. Their indie dance distills pure melodic energy with a strong message. “We are free to be whoever we want to be.” Their new track “Be” offers an interesting perspective on the subject. Why should we follow all the rules dictated by society when we can sense those rules are not good for us ? “Be” states we shouldn’t let anyone tell us “what to be”.
Little Voice is also known as Laetitia Duveau, the art curator who runs the online platform Curated By Girls, giving a voice to visual arts related to diversity, equality and softness.

An-Ten-Nae Releases Deep Bass, Full Length Album, ‘Medicine’

San Francisco based An-Ten-Nae releases new full length album, Medicine, and gets huge feature in The Huffington Post, Medicine debuted at #25 on the iTunes Electronic list, just under Flume and Bonobo, as well as top 10 on Bandcamp.

An-Ten-Nae has also revealed “Wildflower In Bloom,” an intricately layered masterpiece with deep underpinnings, and another reason the album Medicine is being so widely received.

Medicine is the 3rd album from Bay Area electronic music pioneer An-ten-nae, and pushes forth a new Deep Bass sound emerging from the west coast. Intricately balanced deep grooves flow under a cinematic landscape fused with deep captivating melodies and meticulous production values. The track listing itself leads you into a world where sound has deeper meanings. Medicine leaves behind the familiar Big Room EDM sounds found in over abundance in dance music today. Instead this album takes bass in a deeper, more thoughtful direction which can be compared to the difference between Big room versus Deep House. Polyrhythmic grooves accentuate deep, old school UK Dubstep bass layers woven with 808s in a modern aesthetic, that is quite unique and refreshing.

“I believe people want listening music – even on the dancefloor!”

Aleksander Vinter, the Norwegian artist who in the last 7 years has released over 20 recordings under different project titles like Savant, Vinter In Hollywood, and Blanco to name a few, is best known dance-music culture’s most unpredictable, impossible-to-pigeonhole enigma. With releases as diverse as they are experimental, that reputation has remained constant and well earned throughout a madly prolific career spanning numerous singles, remixes, nominations for Norwegian Grammys, and 11 (!) full-length albums.

On the one hand, Savant deploys the kind of speaker-shredding bangers that have made him one of dance music’s most popular rising stars: his dynamic live set drives crowds at mega-festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival into abandon, yet Savant refuses to conform to EDM genre demarcations – or any, for that matter.

“‘Electronic Dance Music’ is the most generic term, which doesn’t apply to what I do,” Vinter explains of the sound he’s dubbed “complextro.” “It’s all about putting everything into one pot of musical ether. I don’t have a rigid formula; my music manages to be comfortable and uncomfortable at the same time. I like breaking rules – that’s where new stuff emerges.” Indeed, this is not your grandmother’s moombahton: 8-bit videogame soundtracks, trap, disco, house, electro, classical, ‘90s big-beat electronica – even ‘70s glam rock and ‘80s new wave finds its way into his sonic odysseys. “I like how a group like Queen is very theatrical and harmonized,” Vinter says. “That epic feeling, plus the style of David Bowie, and the spunk of Prince – that’s what I’m going for, but via dance music.

His fan base is as religious as his music is diverse. His live act is a live interactive set of music of his own creation, peppered with favorites, that never repeats from show to show. Each show it truly unique but tied together by his tendency to share his newest music with his fans. Savant wants to create the same feelings that early DJ’s would evoke on their dance floors, that feeling of discovery and seeding the question, “WHAT SONG WAS THAT!? I NEED TO HAVE IT.”

D. FRANCISCO Releases Modern Dance / Opera / Pop Fusion Single & Music Video “I Want Ya”

D.Francisco_I want Ya_Single_cover_Final

Multi-Genre Singer / Songwriter D. FRANCISCO is setting to explode onto the Pop / Dance Scene with his debut single and music video, “I Want Ya”. Melding classical operatic vocal styling with upbeat Latin-Pop Lyrics and a modern dance energy, this ebullient track recalls the vibrance of the 1999 Latin-Pop explosion led by Ricky Martin and Julio Iglesias, with an elegant twist reminiscent of Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli.

The Latin-Pop explosion of the late 90’s was a solid shot-in-the-arm for audiences all over. This eclectic and energetic genre was finally getting it’s due, thanks in part to artists like Ricky Martin and Julio Iglesias. Fast forward to 2016, and we present to you D. FRANCISCO and his new single “I Want Ya”. It has all of the dance energy of the best Latin-Pop, but also incorporates twists reminiscent of more classical artists such as Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli.

While so many new artists create much hype yet have little substance to back it up, D. FRANCISCO has spent a lifetime perfecting his craft behind-the-scenes. His background consists of years of diligent training; starting with private instrumental lessons, moving to touring internationally with the celebrated Phoenix Boys Choir, and culminating with an opera internship in Rome, Italy.

Using these skills as a solid foundation, he has turned his attention to making his own music, with his own twist. Not limited to any one genre, D. FRANCISCO pulls from Pop, Latin, Opera, and even elements of EDM. It’s all about the song and whatever fits. For his debut single, he’s pulling out all of the stops – “I Want Ya” jukes & jives, and overall has an arc of prolific musicianship that spans front to back! Plus, but he’s also dropping versions in both English and Spanish!

The “I Want Ya” music video is a sizzling number that heats up quick, and burns hot until the very end. It’s set in a darkened club with a group of high rollers seated around a small table, and they’re playing a very big game of poker. Chips and dollars abound – it’s clear that the stakes are high. As D. FRANCISCO and his band light up the stage, a buxom new participant, dressed in all white, enters the match: Ana Carla Sinclair. Known as a contestant on The Voice Mexico, she takes a seat, portraying quite the foil to the sultry hostess and attending waitress, dressed in a sizzling black and red outfit, played by renowned dancer Nayara Nuñez.

As the action ensues, a coy game of eye contact and knowing glances are exchanged by D. FRANCISCO, Nayara, and Ana, although it’s unclear exactly who is on which side. Eventually, Ana runs the table with the supposed “pros” while Nayara explodes onstage with her brilliant dance. Though she may have a furtive plan in place, D. FRANCISCO discreetly disarms her, and executes a plan of his own on the way out the door!

Buy / Stream D. FRANCISCO’s “I Want Ya” Online HERE!

Multi-genre singer/songwriter D. FRANCISCO is a true artist who has successfully melded old-world charm with vivacious Latin-Pop. As opposed to the trend-driven experiences of most artists his age, D. FRANCISCO has honed his craft through years of diligent training and commitment. From his early instrumental lessons and exposure to opera and symphony; through touring with the celebrated Phoenix Boys Choir; private and undergraduate vocal studies culminating in an opera internship in Rome, Italy; and finally additional vocal training with the eminent Seth Riggs, D. FRANCISCO has created a proficient foundation that is reflected in his stunning and unique merging of Operatic-Pop, Latin-Pop, and EDM.

In Italian there is a saying, “Si canta como si parla,” roughly meaning that one sings as one speaks, and singing is to speaking what running is to walking – it’s heightened, more intense. So my goal as an artist is to convey the human condition in all its different facets, and engage the audience in the process. It’s a journey I lead them on, so to speak, which is a manifestation of our mutual humanity, expressed in the universal language of music. Ultimately and thankfully, life is festive. Let’s celebrate it together, along with all the trials & tribulations, the joys & the heartbreaks we’ve encountered along the way.D FRANCISCO
