Ghosts Again Release “Les Enfants Terribles” Music Video

Ghosts_Again

North Carolina post hardcore outfit Ghosts Again has released a new single and music video, “Les Enfants Terribles” off their forthcoming EP set to release late this spring. With influences such as Saosin and Underoath, the band releases a breath of fresh air in the post-hardcore genre.

Les Enfants Terribles” is a song about losing your home and just trying to get away from the toxic things of your past. Something I think a lot of people can relate to. This track was also one of the first songs we sat down together to write for the upcoming record and it was there, that I think we really found our sound, and where we wanted to take the rest of the EP. – Alex Cortright (Vocals)

Note to Self Release Haunting Music Video for “Akrasia” Shining Light on Mental Disorder

Post-hardcore group Note to Self explore the pitfalls of living with OCD in their new music video “Akrasia”.  Making use of frantic, black and white cinematography, “Akrasia” was directed by Marcus Eden at the Painted Tiger Warehouse.

We wrote this song to give people insight to what it’s like to live with a mental disorder,” says vocalist Albert SchweizerBeing diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder myself, I know how alone a person can feel. It’s hard for people to understand what we go through every day. This is our way of saying you are not alone, we understand.

“Akrasia” (defined as the state of mind in which someone acts against their better judgement through weakness of will) is available on the band’s new EP Agony Complete via iTunes. The record, which was produced by Matt Good who recently worked on The Word Alive‘s upcoming release, helped the group land a deal with Powerline Management (Asking Alexandria, From First to Last, Eyes Set to Kill, and more).

All In Release “Capsized” Music Video

Mississippi melodic hardcore outfit All In has released a new music video for their new single “Capsized.” The song comes from the band’s forthcoming debut EP titled, Lost set to release February 5th. The anticipated 5 track album was produced by Zac Buras of Law Studios and mixed and mastered by Erik Bickerstaffe of Paralysis Studios.

“I’m so glad to have finally filmed this music video. We always wanted to do one and when we finally got around to this point in our career, we knew “Capsized” would be the right choice. I wrote this song to help kids understand that they aren’t alone in their day to day struggles. Whether that be internal or external, your life is worth fighting for. Fight to be happy because at the end of the day, as people, we all just want to be happy. So many people, I find, in older generations do not believe someone as young as myself can be a voice of reason but I believe differently. I wrote this song for me. I wrote this song for you. Stay strong, and never let life defeat you,” says Jared Daws.
