Based in Las Vegas, The Savior Complex is a stand-out band that will be making waves in the music industry before you know it. Creators Anthony X (also known as the Sinister Minister) and Jay Gordon have shaped The Savior Complex to bring a unique sound with an avant-garde feel to listeners. Gordon is known for his work with well-known bands like OrgyKornLinkin Park, and Crazytown. The creators of The Savior Complex are no strangers to the music industry, and the unique sound will have listeners hooked from the first listen.

The Savior Complex derived their name from a common phrase seen in everyday life. The savior complex is defined by Psychology Today as: “A psychological construct which makes a person feel the need to save other people. This person has a strong tendency to seek people who desperately need help and to assist them, often sacrificing their own needs.” What’s especially interesting is how deep these three words go. On the surface, selflessly helping someone is undoubtedly a noble deed. When analyzing this further, it’s easy to think: “Are a savior’s actions any less noble if the end result isn’t favorable for the person in need? Is a savior complex always driven by pure motives? Is it better to save people instead of leaving them responsible for helping themselves?

The band’s music has similar qualities to this age-old construct. Every person who listens to the lyrics will connect with them in different ways, finding different meanings and asking themselves different questions. The Savior Complex believes music has the power to touch the soul, connecting with the struggles and triumphs everyone feels, every day.

Adema is a post-grunge, alternative metal band with heavy electronica influence who began their musical adventure together in 1998 in Bakersfield and as their original lineup of Dave DeRooKris KohlsMike RansomTim Fluckey, and Mark Chavez released full-length albums AdemaUnstable, and EP Insomniac’s Dream. During this time they found themselves sharing the stage alongside of some of rock’s biggest acts at the time: Linkin ParkOzzy OsbourneGodsmackStone Temple PilotsRob ZombieSystem of a Down, and Korn, just to name a few.

After Unstable, the band found itself facing major roadblocks in their future. The most impactful being the departure of two founding members, lead vocalist Mark Chavez and guitarist Mike Ransom. Remaining members Tim, Dave, and Kris showed exceptional resilience through the years, managing to secure a second record deal with Earache Records, continuing to tour, and releasing full-length records Planets and Kill the Headlights, followed by EP Topple the Giants. Refusing to let down the fans after the departure of Chavez, they first played and recorded with vocalist Luke Caraccioliand then Bobby Reeves, with guitarist Tim Fluckey eventually taking up the vocal duties of the band.

After years of perseverance, 2010 brought us their first reunion as the original 5 members. Chavez left the group, and then again in 2017 they got back together until Chavez refused several tour offers, finally making it known to the group he no longer had interest in singing Adema songs, touring, or recording. All hope seemed to be lost. The original singer was no longer an option and only someone AMAZING would be good enough to fill the vacuum left behind. That’s when Kris Kohls called long-time friend of the band, Ryan Shuck (Orgy, Julien-K, Dead By Sunrise), and the beginning of a new era begun. Sharing Adema’s love for electronica-infused rock, this merger is bringing about a new commitment to Adema’s roots. Being able to front both his band, Julien-K, and Adema would not have been possible without the full support of both bands, both of which enjoy history and friendship together that has spanned several years. With a major tour announced for the Fall of 2019, it wouldn’t be too hard to imagine that there will be some amazing new music coming in the near future as well. Stay tuned!

51 Peg formed in 1998, with the release of their first album “Strange Appointments” coming in 2000 which drew comparisons to a varied group of artists like Peter Murphy, Depeche Mode, and Orgy. The follow-up album “Esc \ Ctrl” featured a more focused and polished sound, and pushed the band forward in popularity. The group went on an indefinite hiatus in 2007 but was offered a reunion show in 2016 which proved to be successful.

Building on that momentum and with the combined experience gathered over the years in other projects, the band decided to write their most ambitious material yet. Listen to the latest evolution of the band’s sound at 51peg.com.

From his first single, “I Sit On Acid”, released in 1988, to the present, Belgium’s Praga Khan remains one of the most innovative acid house musicians in circulation. Thanks to extensive experimentation with drugs, Crowley-ian sex magic, and esoteric paths of self-deprivation and mutilation known only to himself, this orgiastic orchestrator created the LORDS OF ACID to further encapsulate the seductive messages and raw sex of his ever-evolving musical vision. From the raw carnality of their 1991 release Lust to the electro-thrash of 2012’s Deep Chills, Lords of Acid has re-defined the pure pleasures of drugs, hedonism, and deviant sex for thirty years. Now, despite numerous lineup changes, world tours, over 2.5 million album sales, and every possible point of crisis and conflict a band can face, Lords of Acid is returning to the unsuspecting again, this time with a new crew of deviants, dilettantes, and sonically transmitted diseases.

“Even when ‘Further From You’ was in it’s early stages, we knew we had something special. It impacted everyone in the band in a different way. Any time a song does that you, you know it means something. Then when you throw producer Ulrich Wild in the mix, it’s game over.” – Dirty Machine

Built to last and refusing to follow the Indie music scene that has been dominating California, Dirty Machine has tasked themselves with bringing homegrown American Nu Metal back to the forefront of the industry. Based out of Los Angeles, the crowd this band draws has been moshing to their down-tuned rhythm since 2012. Consisting of David Leach (front man), Darren Davis (guitar, vocals), Arnold Quezada (guitar), Ben Jovi (Bass). NIGHTMARE (percussion), and DJ Ecusa (turntable); the members of Dirty Machine have brought together their eclectic musical backgrounds to form a powerhouse group that will not be fading away anytime soon.

Whether it is progressing forward with their music or thrashing around on stage, Dirty Machine is always in a state of constant motion. This is a band that does not believe in standing still. With a passionate enthusiasm for their craft which is rarely seen in today’s music, the members of Dirty Machine can make even the most standoffish crowd start head banging. Every live performance is a wildly spirited event.

Dirty Machine has done everything from headlining the Jägermeister stage at the 2016 Kansas City Rockfest to playing a sold out show at the House of Blues Sunset Strip and Viper Room. They have opened for acts such as P.O.D., Hed PE, Otep, Metalachi, Orgy and toured with Insane Clown Posse on “The Great Milenko” tour. Although they are based out of California, they are getting regular airtime on the leading Kansas City rock station 98.9fm and have been taking the state of Missouri and Michigan by storm. Dirty Machine is steadily conquering America one state at a time through their street team, rabid fan base, and the far reaching scope of internet radio.

Swindy Release Official Music Video for “Reflection”

Tucson, AZ based Electronic Pop Rock band Swindy has released the Official Music Video for the single “Reflection,” off of their debut, self titled EP. Originally premiered on Tattoo.com, “Reflection” was directed by Isabel Uzcategui at Originate Design Productions.

During my time in 2012, I began to discover the strength found in pop music. I fell in love with the influences of Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Kesha and more. It was from there that my solo project, Swindy (a nickname given to me), began to take off. It has developed itself quickly into a style that brings a variety of music styles together and is supported by a complete band lineup. – Randall Swindell

Download / Stream ‘Swindy’ Online:

iTunes | Amazon | Spotify | Bandcamp

Swindy began life as the solo project of Randall Swindell (frontman for Ensphere) when presented with a sudden opportunity to play a show. He teamed up with drummer Mike Jenney (Alter der Ruine and Assemblage 23) and guitarist Jeff Sargent (vocalist for Industrial Band 51 PEG) for their debut in July 2016 in Tucson, AZ; Steven Escalante has since joined the band as the newest permanent and live drummer while Mike has moved over to synthesizer position. Classical vocalist Alyson Precie joined in September 2016. Conceived at the start as a fast-paced project designed for a flexible, modular live performance, a Swindy show can be executed with as few as one or as many as nine musicians. Their sound has been described as “Electronic Pop Rock – with a twist of Industrial”, but the diverse musical backgrounds of the members combine to create a sound that’s not quite definable. Swindy has quickly gained momentum, releasing their first single “Reflection” (ft. John Russell) on November 17th, 2016, followed by their next single “Ignite My Love” on January 12th, 2017. The full 5 track self-titled EP, produced by Matt Good (From First to Last), was released on February 23rd. Not content with just the studio, Swindy has shared the bill with Orgy, Powerman 5000, Trapt, Otep, Dope, Combichrist, William Control, and many others. Swindy recently welcomed the addition of Jonathan Russell on guitar, replacing Jeff Sargent for the upcoming live performances. Swindy continues to book out 2017, and a full length record is in motion for early 2018.
