“This song is a physical fight. It’s an argument. It’s a battle cry for all those willing to stand up for what they believe in.

While “Breathe” serves as a reassuring state of mind, ‘No Apologies’ offers a message of initiative. As the sequel to ‘Breathe,’ ‘No Apologies’ shows that staying positive is a great start but isn’t always a strong enough method when dealing with real life matters.

Sometimes it takes standing up to the trials that life throws at you. These trials can bind you. Especially in isolation, these trials can make you feel like you’re in an inescapable prison. ‘No Apologies’ comes screaming in to break that mold. No matter where you are in life, everybody has felt like they need to scream out and throw their hands up to be free. We offer this song as a means to do so.

This song is about confidence, strength, & courage. Whether you’re wrestling with self worth, bullying, depression, discrimination, addiction, trauma, or abuse, this song was written for you.

We want people to realize that strength comes from within. It’s not about being the biggest, or the strongest in the fight. Strength comes in many forms. Oftentimes more than not, strength is showcased with heart. Whether you’re physically standing up for yourself, or simply asking for help; it takes a great deal of strength to keep up the fight & overcome. We’re keeping up our fight every day by using our mantra: “Faith will see you through and Scars will make you stronger”.

We are hoping to create a movement that is all inclusive, and inspires a generation. We are setting our sights to the future, learning from our mistakes and failures and using them to push forward and be better than we were yesterday.

Overall ‘No Apologies’ is about being willing to get up, dust yourself off, address the issues at hand, put the work in, and ultimately make a change for the better.

As a reminder, we offer you this:

Be yourself, 100% of yourself. Never settle for less than you deserve. Keep on the grind. Make no excuses, stay true to yourself, and make No Apologies.”

“Making this video was no easy feat! Leading up to the video, our vocalist Roger underwent months of training, allowing himself time to learn how to safely perform in the ring. All of the moves were done by him, & under the supervision of a trained professional. Because of this supervision, the other band members were able to jump in to do a few moves as well. Safety was top priority for this shoot, and we’re so pleased with the final product. The band also brought in a professional wrestler to help in the video. The masked wrestler you see is none other than professional wrestler Brandon Hillard who currently works under the ring name Brandon Wild! Brandon was easy to work with & a great asset to the video. He remains a close friend of ours today.

Along with learning how to properly work in a ring, we had to find one to use for the shoot. Our solution came from an awesome local wrestling organization, Live Championship Wrestling (LCW). They had a ring where we were able to learn, train, and film in. The owner, Dan Wright, offers training to aspiring wrestlers through his wrestling school, The Fracture Factory. Dan & The Factory were more than willing to help us out.

Another aspect of this shoot was the lighting and production. Every light and effect you see was paid for, set up, and operated by a member of the band. We spent many hours up on a ladder in the middle of the ring hanging lights from the rafters and rigging up smoke machines. It’s no easy feat to stand on a ladder in the middle of a wrestling ring, and we commend the ones who can do it during a match.”

Faith & Scars is an American Rock band. With members hailing from all around the US, (North Carolina, Virgina, Florida, & California) they are currently based out of Selma, NC. They come at you with a southern flare and a touch of soul. Even through their most difficult times, Faith & Scars has found a way to stick together; bound by their mantra: Keep the Faith.

The band states,”We’ve found that if you hold faith in something, and hold it tight – be it your dreams, family, a significant other, yourself, or God – You’ll find yourself possessing a force that will push you to be the best that you can be.”

Faith & Scars has a profound love for music and finds inspiration through many bands & artists. They proudly wear their 90’s-2000’s rock influence on their sleeves, yet distinctly display classic sounds comparative to Guns n Roses, Jimi Hendrix and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Blended all together, you get a sound that can be compared to bands such as Shinedown, Bon Jovi & Black Stone Cherry.

The band adds, “We just want to be the best we can be, and have a good time doing it. It’s a lot of hard work, and sometimes heartache to keep a band together, but if we can touch someone with a lyric, or affect anyone in a positive way by doing what we do… then we’ve done our job. We aim to put on the best show we can every time we step onto a stage. Whether it’s 2,000 people, or 2 people and the bartender – we play every show like it’s a sold out stadium.”

“We’re finding our way as an independent band. We’re working hard to reinvent ourselves at every step of the way. We believe we have done that with this record. We have full faith in ‘Revolver’, and we’re proud to have a product that we can stand behind. Our sights are set & we’re about to take our shot. We just hope you guys enjoy it as much as we do.

We are Faith & Scars and this is Revolver.

MESSER Releases 23 Track Remix Album for “Simple Man,”‘RE:TURN RE:VISIT RE:MIX’!

YOUTUBE Reduced

Heavy, Alternative rock band MESSER has announced the release of RE:TURN RE:VISIT RE:MIX. Originally launched by the band’s producer, Chad Gendason of Maddpants Records with popular music-production site Splice.com as a remix contest, fans inundated the band and site with hundreds of submissions, leading to a mammoth, 23 track collection of rei-maginings of the band’s 2019 released single, “Simple Man,” to showcase the talent of these diverse up-and-coming producers. Gendason worked closely on the final arranging and mixing, and the extraordinary results take the song in wildly different emotional and musical directions.

Visualizer

“‘Simple man’ is a song written from the perspective of someone who is removing themselves from the drama or superficial aspects and expectations of social media/society.

Resolved in the strength it takes to be alone and move themselves forward. It’s a narrative on how this person wants to find their own power and focus on clarity of self. “What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger” is the mantra and highlights the strength it takes to step away from the shallow world into something more meaningful for themselves. #Go” – MESSER

MESSER means “knife” in German, and the Dallas, Texas band has lived up to its name since cutting an inescapable swath into the rock world with their debut single, “Make This Life.” The band’s cutting edge modern rock sound was born through serendipitous connections in the thriving Deep Ellum music scene of Dallas, an area that has given rise to iconic Hard Rock and Metal bands like PanteraDrowning PoolHell Yeah, and King’s X.

Messer continued their momentum from their breakout year with the release of “Simple Man”, the 3rd single and video from their self-titled debut album, which bowed at #3 on the Soundscan New Artist chart and was named “New and Noteworthy” at iTunes and Amazon Music. The Dallas, Texas based band had a banner year in 2018 with first single “Make This Life” reaching #25 on the Active Rock radio charts, and second single “Save Myself” also made it into the Top 30 – the only truly independent act to do so.

“Simple Man” peaked at #23 on the Active Rock charts, and is the highest charting single for the band to date. It garnered attention throughout the rock world with spots on key Hard Rock playlists on SpotifyApple MusicAmazon MusicPandora RadioGoogle Play MusicYoutube, and Slacker Radio. The band has received accolades from LoudwireAXSAlternative PressRevolverNew NoisePure Grain Audio, and more. All 3 singles were also featured on iHeartradio’s “Artist You Should Know” with adds on Sirius/XM OctaneMusic Choice, and over 70 rock radio stations throughout the United States, resulting in 30,000 spins at rock radio, 15 million combined audience, and 10 million worldwide streams.

The band has since grown their fan base locally, quickly branching out regionally and nationally, opening for notable bands such as Sick PuppiesCandleboxHinderVince NeilBlack Stone CherryLynch MobDrowning PoolLocal HTraptMetallicaDokkenScott Stapp Of CreedAvenged Sevenfold, and Buckcherry, including a 40-city sold out tour with RED and Lacey Sturm. The band was even personally invited by Kevin Lyman to play the Texas leg of the final Vans Warped Tour.

It was on one of these tours that the band caught the attention of Los Angeles based writer/producer, Chad Gendason. The band felt an immediate comeradery with Chad and a lasting bond was made. Messer started writing with Chad, and their first collaboration became “Simple Man”. Fan favorite “Whiskey” soon followed and the songs started to flow into what would eventually become their self-titled debut album, Messer, which released on 4/20/18 on Maddpants Records. The album was mixed by Ben Grosse (Marilyn MansonBreaking BenjaminDisturbed) and mastered by Tom Baker (Papa RoachDavid BowieMotley Crue).

Dereak knew he wanted to pursue singing as a career while in High School in Iowa and started honing his chops with local bands. After high school he moved to Dallas to pursue his music career professionally. His first contact was with Dallas native Javier, who was making a name for himself playing in Jagermeister sponsored bands Mudflap and Pimpadelic. The two bonded at a show and became the genesis of Messer. While looking for a place to get his hair cut, Dereak walked into Maddox’s Hair salon on a whim. The two struck up a conversation about music and another connection was made. Kenny was traveling from his home in Canada to an audition in Phoenix when his car broke down in Dallas. He ended up staying in town and found success playing with the band Strangleweed, who made an appearance on the nationally televised Courtroom show “Eye for an Eye”. That caught the attention of the members of Messer, and Kenny became part of the family. Donnie was playing in various Dallas bands and gaining attention as an award-winning Tattoo artist. Maddox would play Donnie tracks the band was working on and in turn, Donnie would play music he was recording at his own home studio. As Messer continued to develop as a band, they knew they wanted to add an additional guitar player, and they all agreed that Donnie was a great fit. The lineup for Messer was solidified.

In 2019, Messer, with producer Chad Gendason, teamed with Splice.com on a remix contest for their most recent single, “Single Man,” which ultimately led to hundreds of submissions branching all corners of the electronic genre. Due to the overwhelming response, the band and Gendason collected the top 23 remixes to package into a powerhouse remix album, RE:TURN RE:VISIT RE:MIX, which is set to release via Maddpants Records on April 10, 2020.

MESSER is a band that is building a brand of new rock that blurs the line between nostalgia and modern art, leaving the listener with a sound that is not only familiar but also NEW and ADDICTIVE.

Denver, CO based dark rock artist SHARONE has released her hotly anticipated new album, Reflection.

Advance Praise for Reflection

“This Denver based singer/songwriter showed that she was adept at harnessing the chaos on her previous couple of albums and she’s really turning the gothic-art-pop-rock up on her latest long-player. It’s packed with dark fairytales and swooping riffs as well as more theatrical invention that you’d find at the Royal Shakespeare Company.” – The Crack Magazine

“In summary absolute female power, which reminds of EVANESCENCE and TARJA TURUNEN. This talented singer makes you curious about her live performances! 4.5/5” – Stormbringer.at

Channeling chaos into art, Sharone erupted onto the Denver music scene as a solo artist in 2014 playing local DIY venues; since then she has gone on to play venues such as Marquis TheaterBluebird Theater, and Gothic Theater, playing festivals, and opening for bands such as One-Eyed-DollThe Birthday MassacreFuelSaving AbelDavey SuicideTantricHell’s Belles, and Stitched Up Heart. The atmospheric and melodramatic music of Evanescence and the psychedelic blues of Black Sabbath inspired Sharone to start performing her music live, and to eventually release her 2017 demo album, Storm.

Despite sustaining a dark and nearly melancholy tone on recordings, the gothic artist’s live shows are nothing short of energetic, full of heavy piano riffs, pulsing rhythms, and enthralling theatrics. From emerging from a coffin to jumping off of monitors and captivating contortions, Sharone captures the interest of each audience member through her piercing stage chemistry with her live musicians, and her ever-growing theatrics.

In the spring of 2017, the singer left her mark on the Denver music scene with the release of her first rock album Storm. Following the release, underwent a complete lineup change in her band, and came back stronger than ever with the reincarnation of her dark sound: Enchiridion of Nightmares (2018).

“Like a series of dark fairy tales, Enchiridion of Nightmares the new album from dark [rocker] Sharone, captivates, seduces, and haunts. Each of its notes, let alone songs, comes with a shadow to [her] beauty, melancholy to [her] light, and intimacy to [her] grandeur with it all colluding in an adventure which just steals the imagination from everyday reality.

There is a rich cinematic and theatre-esque feel to Enchiridion of Nightmares which equally adds to its captivation; indeed its songs entwine an influence of horror movies, vintage and modern, into their personal nightmares. With just as richly layered and dramatic sounds to its exploration, the album is a persistent unveiling of new twists and shadows listen by listen. On our first meeting intrigue soaked the pleasure, through a couple more captivation, each subsequent listen leading to the inescapable bewitchment these words spring from.”
The Ringmaster Review

Sharone followed up the release with three exhilarating summer and fall tours, reaching audiences across the western, central, and eastern United States, and is currently working on her third studio album. This unique rock artist is destined for success in the metal and goth rock realm.

Sharone’s third studio album, ‘Reflection’, is due out December 7th, 2019.

A Voodoo Doctor “The Doctor” came across a girl who looked lost and scared. He used his magic to turn her into a doll, but his spell was disrupted from her terrifying and taunting screams, she remained half human, half doll. As Raven lived in the dark world of the Doctor, she secretly learned his magic and conjured up a demon, Muppet, who she made her eternal protector and trapped him inside her heart. The Doctor and Muppet created Stitches to search for those who are looking to join our dark metal carnival world in the 13th hour.

Raven Black released their first single, “Died Inside,” on September 7, 2013 at the Roxy, selling out the venue that night. They continued to work in the studio and released their first EP, Midnight Dreary, in June 2014, successfully packing the house at the famous Viper Room.

The band was previously managed by Aaron Rossi (Grammy Nominated Drummer of Ministry/Prong), AJR Enterprises and worked with Grammy-Winning Producer Logan Mader (SoulFly/Machinehead/Five Finger Death Punch).

In October 2014, they revamped their line up and began working with Grammy Nominated Producer Ulrich Wild (Rob Zombie, White Zombie, Alice In Chains, Breaking Benjamin, Pantera, Seether,Dethklok, Otep, and more) on their new album. They then spent the next two years writing and then released their single, “Seven Sins,” in April 2016 and their EP, Seven Sins, in September 2016.

Raven Black played the Corona Hell and Heaven Festival July 2016 in Mexico City, Mexico with headliners like Rammstein, Twisted Sister, Ghost, Five Finger Death Punch, Mushroomhead, Selpultura, Alien Ant Farm, and many others.

To end their summer, they played the 2016 DirtFest Festival in Michigan with headliners Killswitch Engage, Asking Alexandria, Hatebreed, Attila, Born of Osiris, and many others.

Releasing their first Official EP with the new line up, Seven Sins dropped September 29, 2016 on the way out to tour with Mushroomhead, Sunflower Dead, Unsaid Fate, and Death Division for Mushroomhead’s Annual Halloween Tour.

The 2017 year started very busy for Raven Black as they headed to Cleveland, OH to film their new music video with MonoBloc’s Josh Apple and Andrew Sparks for “Twinkle Twinkle Little Scars,” premiered by Revolver Magazine on April 13, 2017. A little horror version of their already theatrical presence in the metal community. “We wanted to have some blood in this one,” says Raven.

After a quick rest, Raven Black toured through the Southern parts of the U.S. on their way to SXSW They played the Heart of Texas Rock Festival in March 2017. Winning fans from across multiple genres at SXSW. Raven says, “I am so proud of being able to share our METAL music with other fans of country, hip hop and pop genres. I was so surprised and happy to see them buying our music. It was fun and the only thing missing was the big mosh pit, LOL, although there was a small handful of metalheads represented this year at SXSW. ”

After returning back home to Los Angeles, the band quickly prepared for their first Headliner Tour, The Hex O’Clock Tour, which kicked off in Guadalajara, Mexico at the Roadhouse Voodoo Bar, July 7, 2017 and returned to the U.S. to begin their month long tour throughout the U.S. from coast to coast.

The Hex O’Clock Tour was a complete success and the band was able to visit so many new cities throughout the country, see their fans, and play so many new venues. Sharing with their fans, new stage props, a few new songs and announcing their new album, 13, in early Spring 2018.

Raven Black just finished their 6-week across the U.S. tour supporting Psychostick, Arsonists Get All the Girls, and Kissing Candice. The tour was amazing and the bands have developed life-long friends. Doesn’t always happen on tours, but it did this time.

To end the 2017 year, Raven Black just announced their pre-order of the Comic Book The Dark Metal Carnival – The Beginning – Issues 1-100. These pre order comic books will be series sequenced from 1-100 and will release in print this Spring 2018. Only these first 100 issues will be numbered for the fans that pre-order. The remaining prints after the first 100 will not be numbered.

They will be also releasing their 2nd EP Album this Spring, 13. In the studio in January and February, Raven Black will be working with Ulrich Wild, Wurm Group, once again to complete their next release this Spring 2018. Of course, this will surely mean a TOUR across the U.S. and performing the new tracks from “13”. There may also be a new music video coming this early Summer.

On tour this Spring with special guest, Hail Sagan and Aboleth May 11, 2018 through June 3, 2018 including an appearance at the Metal In the Mountains Festival in West Virginia on June 2, 2018 with headliner, Mushroomhead.

The Spring tour, “The Little Monsters Tour” will feature their new album “13” with single releases, “Monster”, “DollHouse” and “The Nobodoies” (Cover Song by Marilyn Manson”). Their new first issue/limited edition comic book, “A Dark Metal Carnival – The Beginning” and new swag for 2018.

Following their tour, expect a few fun releases of a new music video and a new announcement of their upcoming Summer Tour after they play the 2018 Michigan Metal Festival on August 11, 2018!

ENDING THEIR 2018 YEAR, RAVEN BLACK HAS BEEN ON TOUR WITH DEVILDRIVER AND JINJER THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES.

IN 2019, RAVEN BLACK SIGNED WITH THE ORACLE MANAGEMENT, OWNED AND OPERATED BY DEVILDRIVER’S VERY OWN DEZ FAFARA AND AHNASTASIA FAFARA. “People find false comfort in either science or religion. The institutions have been corrupted and are used to divide the masses into two camps. It’s the perfect scam having people argue over what’s the truth. The truth is that organized religion and science are full of shit and used to deceive us and keep us fighting each other. Institutions are tools of suppression and none are better at it than the ones telling us to worship false idols and blindly believe in fake science.” — Kyriakos “Charlie” Tsiolis

DAN KINCAID Releases Lyric Video for “Living in Circles”

unnamed

Los Angeles based singer/songwriter/guitarist DAN KINCAID has released the lyric video for his single, “Living in Circles.” Created by Jacob Glover, “Living in Circles” is off of DAN KINCAID’s new album, Persona Non GrataPersona Non Grata was produced by Christian Eigner (Depeche Mode) and Niko Stoessl.

“‘Living In Circles’ is one of three songs on the album that was written in one day. Ironically, those three songs are my favorites on the album. For once, I didn’t over-analyze my inner voice when writing them.

When I first wrote ‘Living In Circles,’ I really didn’t know how I felt about it. It was different and and a bit dramatic.

I sent it off to Christian and Niko to turn my words and melodies into something more beautiful and profound. And damn, it sounded great! In the end, it became my first single for this album.” – DAN KINCAID

“Creating Persona Non Grata was a completely different and awesome experience for me. On the last album I released, I engineered, recorded, and edited every note and nuance on the album. I’m a bit of a perfectionist and my own harshest critic, so I had to learn to let go with this album.

When Christian and Niko offered to produce Persona Non Grata, they told me ‘Just write good chord progressions, lyrics and melodies. Be a singer. We’ll take care of the rest.’ I spent so much time and thought creating each song, and boom…. there it goes into the hands of 2 men across the pond. It was frightening and freeing at the same time, and I’m glad that I did it! Between the three of us, we created an album that was even better than I could have dreamed.

We worked on Persona Non Grata while we were 6100 miles apart and this album sounds like we recorded it together in the studio as a band. Working with Christian and Niko on this album was a true pleasure. Not only are they ridiculously talented, they’re also really nice and funny guys. We had a lot of fun working on it.

I can’t say enough about how proud of my first solo album I am! It encompasses so many aspects of the human condition, between love, despair, and rebirth.

I hope that you enjoy listening to Persona Non Grata as much as I enjoyed creating it.” – DAN KINCAID

Early Praise for Dear World:

“In an era where rock bands take inspiration quite liberally from legends of yore, it may be easy to write off the pleasant grooves of “Dear World” as the result of yet another gathering of copycats. But with patience, it becomes clear that Renegade Cartel have crafted a beautiful vision of what they have seen in the history of rock, and highlight where rock has the potential to grow in the future.” – Sonic Perspectives

“The band fuses classic ingredients from the 80’s and 90’s with seventies groove and drive. An organic, down to earth blend of styles fluently finding its way to the listener, oozing comfort.” – Headbanger Lifestyle

Lullwater Poster Nirvana Style 2

For more than a decade, alt rockers Lullwater have been blazing their way to the top of the industry thanks to their gritty, Southern-infused sound and straight-up, raw performances.

Formed in 2007 in Athens, GA, the foursome was born from the indelible mark that the godfathers of grunge left on music. The convergence of this inspiration, mixed with a healthy helping of swagger, defines this critically acclaimed alternative rock band.

The group released its debut, self-titled album in 2012 to solid reviews and were immediately invited to join some of the biggest tours that same year, as well as had the single “Albatross” featured on Sirius XM Octane Radio. Since that time, Lullwater has spent the majority of their career on the road sharing the stage with such A-list acts as CandleboxTheory of a DeadmanFlyleafPassafireAmarantheButcher Babies, and more. The band released their critically acclaimed sophomore album, Revival, in 2015, followed by a live EP, The Seattle Sessions, in 2017.

Voodoo, their latest effort and arguably their best work to date, was recorded at the end of 2017 in New Orleans at Marigny Studios by Swedish producer and engineer Jakob Herrmann, co-produced/engineered by Justin Davis, and mixed by Jakob Herrmann at top floor studios, is scheduled for a Winter 2018 release; this record promises an even bigger, more explosive sound that will shake you to your core.

SHARONE Releases Official Music Video for “Turn Back Time”!

91EzwVvsszL. SS500

Denver, CO based dark rock artist SHARONE has released the official music video for “Turn Back Time.” A stunning composition merging complex sonic landscapes with deeply layered harmonies, “Turn Back Time” is the second single and video off of her upcoming LP, Reflection, due out December 7th, 2019.

Player

“I’m sure we’ve all had feelings of regret and wishing we could turn back the clock and do it over again. There’s a lot we wish we could have done differently. “Turn Back Time” is my version of that.

I originally started writing this song for my best friend, wishing I had done what they wanted, and hating myself for not doing so once they were gone. Shortly before completing it, the piece turned into a goodbye letter for anyone who I felt like I had to beg to stay in my life. It became about regretting I wasted all of that time and emotion on something that didn’t really matter. I wish I could turn back time and spend all of the energy I wasted on what was truly important.?” – SHARONE

STATIC-X Releases Video Teaser for New Song, “HOLLOW” & Announce Official Release Date with Updated Details for Long Awaited, 7th Studio Album, ‘PROJECT REGENERATION’

Hollow Promo Final

STATIC-X has released a video teaser for their new song, “HOLLOW,” off of their highly anticipated 7th studio album, PROJECT REGENERATION. The album is scheduled to release May 29, 2020 with all pre-ordered merchandise associated with the new album to begin shipping October 15th.

Player

Originally scheduled for release in Spring of 2019, the new STATIC-X album, PROJECT REGENERATION was first intended to feature several guests vocalists, along with the original Wisconsin Death Trip band line up of Tony CamposKen Jay, and Koichi Fukuda.

During the recording sessions for PROJECT REGENERATION, one of the bands producers uncovered several additional unreleased / unfinished STATIC-X tracks, many of which contained isolated vocal performances by Wayne Static.

Because of this incredible find, the new STATIC-X album will now feature lead vocals by Wayne Static on virtually every song.

“It was very surreal” says Tony Campos. “Our producer was going through all of these old studio tapes, many of which were damaged. He called me up and told me that I needed to get down to the studio right away and listen to what he found.. I jumped in my car and raced to the studio and what he shared, fucking blew me away.. It was Wayne singing on track after track, but there was little to no music on any of it.. Most of the tapes were damaged and Waynes voice was virtually all that remained in tact.”

“It was just crazy!!” adds drummer Ken Jay. “There we were.. Myself, Tony and Koichi, back in the studio together, after all these years, and somehow the universe decided to surprise us with all of these lost STATIC-X tapes containing Waynes voice. I just couldn’t help thinking that this was all somehow meant to be. I couldn’t stop thinking about how happy this was going to make Waynes family, and all of the STATIC-X fans around the world.”

While this comes as amazing news for the fans, completing these additional tracks has created a lot of additional work for the band and their producers.

Due to the busy touring schedule associated with the 20th Anniversary of Wisconsin Death Trip, the band had no choice but to delay the album’s release.

“The official release date for PROJECT REGENERATION is now May 29, 2020.” Says Tony Campos “In the mean time, we have decided to go ahead and ship out ALL of the merchandise and schwag associated with the pre-orders to all the fans who have participated. This way they can have all of their shirts, hoodies, posters, etc, while we all wait a little bit longer for the music to be complete.. As originally planned, the Cd’s will ship to everyone the week prior to release..”

In addition, we are finally able to begin sharing some of the finished music from PROJECT REGENERATION” adds Campos. “There is a lot of great stuff on the way, but right now we are going to share a video clip for one of the newly finished songs called ‘HOLLOW.’ This song was originally a demo from the Start A War album, which was never completed.
“Wayne and I never felt like the music on the original demo was fully realized”. adds Tony. “The vocals sounded great, but some of the musical compositions from that time period felt a bit experimental. There is a reason that some of these tracks never made it on a previous STATIC-X album, and it certainly wasn’t because of Wayne’s vocals. The band was just going through a lot of changes at that time and, in retrospect, it felt like we were straying away from that authentic STATIC-X sound that had really defined us.”

Ken Jay adds, “When we began working on PROJECT REGENERATION our producers advised us to ignore all of the old demo music.. We opted for the original band to re-enter the studio with nothing more than Wayne’s vocal tracks.. The vocals sound really great and I think that Wayne would be really happy with what we’ve done with the music and to hear that these tracks have finally realized their full potential..”

“The 20th Anniversary for Wisconsin Death Trip only comes once in a life time.” Says original guitarist Koichi Fukuda “and this year has been absolutely incredible. The new album is going to be very special and this whole 20th Anniversary touring process has been a very unique and healing experience for the band and also for the fans.”

“We are so grateful to the fans who have made 2019 such an incredible year for STATIC-X!” adds Ken Jay. “We have toured the world and celebrated the life and work of our dear friend Wayne, while playing our debut album front to back every night.. The fans have really exceeded our expectations and again, we are just so grateful!”

“Now that the touring for 2019 is coming to an end, we have revised our schedule and we are excited to finish the album so that we can get it into the hands of the fans asap,” states Campos. “I promise that it will be worth the wait!”
