From the traces of the 2016 release of “Impact,” the American Active Rock Band, “HYPERDOSE” has deployed a remarkable sequel. On January 18th, 2018 Hyperdose released the New 2018 EP, entitled, DISASTER, recorded again at Crosstrax Studios in Memphis, TN with Grammy Nominated Producer Justin Rimer (12 StonesSaving AbelWaylandFull-Devil Jacket).

Disaster spawns an animated narrative engaging the listener to the deepest levels of hostility, battle & response. The outset song, “Disaster (Roll with the Punches)” vividly describes our world of defeat and digression, but only to inspire to “Roll with the Punches.” The forefront delivers heated and strong spirited vocals interwoven with shambolic and layered guitar riffs on a pillar of pillaging drums and spine-rattling bass. Each track explores its own panoramic view of emotional encounter.

“Undeniable” hits as a dynamic ballad sure to pierce the hearts and minds of music lovers. Other titles include “Phantom,” “See the Light,” and “Vile,” all of which have great hard rock experimentation and fallback on the meaning of “Hyperdose.” The Debut single entitled, “Take Control” was released April 2015 & features guest vocals from Gabe Aranda of the Modern Act Aranda. The Official Music Video for “Undeniable” is being released September 19, 2019. Adrienne Beacco (Atlanta, GA) was the videographer & editor, with live video being record by Harry Reese (Shiner, TX).

Hyperdose is:
Ben Rivera: Vocals
Blake Mattea: Guitars
Justin Mattea: Bass
Angel Delgado: Drums

All songs written and performed by Hyperdose & Justin Rimer.

Strength Betrayed was formed 2014 with band members Taylor (Drummer), Jacob (Lead Guitar), Seth (Bassist), and Thomas (Vocals, Rhythm Guitar). Strength Betrayed is a Christian Rock band that believes in sharing the love of Jesus, but also being honest about the message we deliver. The name “Strength Betrayed” comes from the biblical story of Sampson and serves as a reminder to the band that the strengths that are given to us can betray us if we allow our strengths to go to our heads, consume our lives, destroy the lives of others through inflated egos and self-importance.

The mission of Strength Betrayed is to provide heavy, high energy and meaningful music to those who would listen, to reach out to all people from all walks of life, to provide hope for the hurting and to let them know that they are not alone in their struggles. Each of us have a past. Each of us hurt. Each of us make mistakes. But each of us were made to be more. We are not our struggles. We are not our sins. We have weaknesses and strengths. We are Strength Betrayed.

Singer | Songwriter | Guitarist | Musician | Rocker – Home grown New York Indie-Rock Recording Artist. Frank Palangi fuels a refreshing positive outlook with his quote “NO PLAN B” that acts as his mission. Serving up a feeding frenzy of edgy heavy guitars, deep n gritty vocals and a modern yet post grunge – old school rock tone. Starting out after leaving high school with a solid support system backing, Frank’s dream of music began a few years later on a path that led to the 2011 debut self-titled Frank Palangi EP. Influenced by bands from the 80’s (MetallicaOzzyDef LeppardMegadeth), 90’s (CreedGodsmack3 Doors Down), 2000’s (DaughtryThree Days GraceShinedown), he sculpted his musical motifs in the music mecca Nashville, TN. Adema is a post-grunge, alternative metal band with heavy electronica influence who began their musical adventure together in 1998 in Bakersfield and as their original lineup of Dave DeRooKris KohlsMike RansomTim Fluckey, and Mark Chavez released full-length albums AdemaUnstable, and EP Insomniac’s Dream. During this time they found themselves sharing the stage alongside of some of rock’s biggest acts at the time: Linkin ParkOzzy OsbourneGodsmackStone Temple PilotsRob ZombieSystem of a Down, and Korn, just to name a few.

After Unstable, the band found itself facing major roadblocks in their future. The most impactful being the departure of two founding members, lead vocalist Mark Chavez and guitarist Mike Ransom. Remaining members Tim, Dave, and Kris showed exceptional resilience through the years, managing to secure a second record deal with Earache Records, continuing to tour, and releasing full-length records Planets and Kill the Headlights, followed by EP Topple the Giants. Refusing to let down the fans after the departure of Chavez, they first played and recorded with vocalist Luke Caraccioliand then Bobby Reeves, with guitarist Tim Fluckey eventually taking up the vocal duties of the band.

After years of perseverance, 2010 brought us their first reunion as the original 5 members. Chavez left the group, and then again in 2017 they got back together until Chavez refused several tour offers, finally making it known to the group he no longer had interest in singing Adema songs, touring, or recording. All hope seemed to be lost. The original singer was no longer an option and only someone AMAZING would be good enough to fill the vacuum left behind. That’s when Kris Kohls called long-time friend of the band, Ryan Shuck (Orgy, Julien-K, Dead By Sunrise), and the beginning of a new era begun. Sharing Adema’s love for electronica-infused rock, this merger is bringing about a new commitment to Adema’s roots. Being able to front both his band, Julien-K, and Adema would not have been possible without the full support of both bands, both of which enjoy history and friendship together that has spanned several years. With a major tour announced for the Fall of 2019, it wouldn’t be too hard to imagine that there will be some amazing new music coming in the near future as well. Stay tuned!
