HADEES MARKET Releases Official Music Video for “Hesitate”

Hesitate Album Square 1500x1500

Rosedale, WA based Alternative Rock band HADEES MARKET has released the official music video for “Hesitate.” The first single from the band’s forthcoming EP, To the Island, From the Lake, “Hesitate” features drums and tabla by drum legend Jen Gilleran, and bass by Tony “AMP” Peterson.

Player

” ‘Hesitate’ marks the end of a five-year period of growth and renewal, full of the rediscovery of some forgotten friends (a bicycle, a kayak, a guitar) and the experience of living near water. The water’s surface says so much. Whether someone is just meeting you or they think they know you, they are experiencing a story. The trick is to wake to the stories you are telling yourself about yourself.” – HADEES MARKET

HadeesMarket Band 1500x1000

Hadees Market is a musical manifestation of me, Greg Williamson. I’ve been exceedingly fortunate to make recorded music here in the US Pacific Northwest with my brother and a few best friends since 1980. I was in a couple different DIY/indie-punk/alternative bands through the ‘80s, and in a regularly gigging post-punk band in the first half of the ‘90s as a drummer. About 1995 I started taking songwriting more seriously, and now I mostly write on guitar.

In 2003, I put out my first six-song EP as Hadees Market, and asked my musician friends to join me on different tracks. Only seventeen years later, in 2020, I’m putting out my latest EP, entitled “To the Island, From the Lake.” The new EP is me with the full band sound; I also perform as a singer-songwriter with just me and a guitar.

The name of the band comes from the name of my grandparents’ grocery store in Olympia, WA in Mud Bay in the 1940’s. My grandmother was “Hazel” and my grandfather “Ira Dee,” so they called the place Hadees Market.
People used to come in and ask my grandpa if he was Mr. Hadees. He always said “yes.”

PHARMACOSE Releases Official Music Video for “The Clearing”

Band 1

Jacksonville, FL Alternative Rock Band PHARMACOSE has released the official music video for “The Clearing.” Directed by Kurt St. Thomas, “The Clearing” is a psychologically introspective, punk infused track off of the band’s new EP, Prescription Fiction, Vol 1, out now via Silent Majority Group.

Player

“I wrote ‘The Clearing’ during a recovery phase of a manic episode I had a couple of years back. I was trying to get my life back in order and was trying to come to terms with my diagnosis. During the verses I am almost reliving what I felt like during the episode: ‘Raging and reckless, out of control.’ But the chorus is me, looking backward, making sense of what was going on during that time. There is a sort of internal dialogue that I am having, trying to convince myself that things are going to be okay. I think in the end I do manage to convince myself, but not before reliving the chaos.” – Wes Jones (Singer)

Advance Praise for Prescription Fiction Vol. 1:

“Pharmacose hits it hard with a strong debut EP that is bound to open a number of doors for them. The songs feel well-written and creative, while nostalgic for rock music of the last two decades. Despite how reminiscent Pharmcose may sound, Prescription Fiction, Pt. 1 comes across as fresh in 2020, and will leave listeners curious for more.” – The Spill Magazine

“The band’s debut EP, Prescription Fiction, Part 1, consists of six hard-driving but melodic tracks…There’s a mix of hard-driving rock and roll, punctuated on some verses with the melodic aplomb of alternative, with the modern sensibilities of emotional music.” – BANGS! Music & Entertainment

“Musically this is a big record. Each of the six songs on ‘Prescription Fiction Part 1’ are edgy all-out rockers that would sit nicely on alternative radio playlists. This mini album is super strong. Just like you.” – Devolution Magazine

SECRET SOCIAL CLUB Reveal Debut Music Video and Sci-Fi Comic, “Gravity”

SecretSocialClub Gravity CoverArt-p1e1idp0bsvai1avud68s7j1nj4

LA Based, Alternative Rock band SECRET SOCIAL CLUB has released the official music video for their debut single, “Gravity.” Directed by Bobby Witewolf and filmed at Foxhole Hollywood, “Gravity” features a progression of imagery from live action to lustrous comic book animation, becoming a sci-fi fantasy as the main character is thrust into a futuristic space odyssey, which is further depicted in their associated comic book.

SECRET SOCIAL CLUB is signed to Herø Records, with the Comic being written & produced by their sister company, Herø Projects. The story was written by Matthew Medney and Morgan Rosenblum and illustrated by Leo Colapietro with the production done by Voodoo Bownz.

YT Player

“ ‘Gravity’ was the first song we did together with producer, Matt Good. It set the precedent for who we were going to be. In our opinion, we couldn’t have asked for a better song to debut as our first single. None of us have ever been a part of something that has sounded so powerful, and we have Matt to thank for that. This song created our identity, which is usually tough for new bands their first time in the studio. “ – Secret Social Club

“ The video for ‘Gravity’ is special because we were lucky enough to have our Director, Bobby Witewolf, pull a few strings and have a crew of about 10 guys, from a major network TV show, come help us out at the drop of a hat. They were amazing. I remember looking at Steve (Bassist) at the end of the night like ‘Damn – All these busy people came to help us…US.’ We didn’t deserve it. I hope one day we can reciprocate the generosity they showed us that day, because this video is really cool and we couldn’t have done it without them! “ – Wade Fitzgerald (Lead Vocalist)

Secret Social Club was formed in late 2018 after lead singer, Wade Fitzgerald, was introduced to Producer Matt Good (From First To Last), by mutual friend Sam Bettley (Bassist for Asking Alexandria). After working on a few demo’s, Wade and guitarist Andy Lutzka took off to start recording with Matt at his studio in Tempe, Arizona.

When it came time to look for a drummer, Longineu Parsons III (LP) was the first name that came to mind. Wade and LP first met in 2014 while LP was on tour with his previous band, Yellowcard. After sending a few messages back and forth, LP flew out to Tempe to meet Wade and Andy during which they wrote and recorded A Life Less Heavy EP in less than 5 days.

Shortly after recording, the band was looking for a bassist. LP invited his childhood friend from Jacksonville FL., Stephen Miller, to the band’s first rehearsal. After the rehearsal, Stephen became the final member.

In 2019, the band had played about 5 shows before signing their contract with Hero Records. Right before signing, LP made the tough decision to pursue an opportunity closer to his home in Florida. Although it was mutually hard for both him and the band, they were lucky to pick up a very talented young drummer in LA named Luc Frankel.

With the video for “Gravity” finished, the band is looking forward to a busy year full of lot’s of shows and new music.

PHARMACOSE Releases Official Music Video for “Checked Out”

Checked Out

Jacksonville, FL Alternative Rock Band PHARMACOSE has released the official music video for their single, “Checked Out.” Originally premiered on PureGrainAudio with a full interview with front-man WES JONES, “Checked Out” was directed by Kurt St. Thomas.

Player

“Checked Out” has a more alternative leaning sound, and that just happened. Lu and I wrote it and recorded it in one session. I had a musical idea, and Lu took that and expanded on it. Things just came together organically. I had started to write the lyrics and I wasn’t sure where they were going. I was kind of stuck, so Lu and I began talking about how we were feeling around that time. I personally was still trying to get my medication regimen right, so I wasn’t feeling bad, but I wasn’t feeling very good either. I had isolated myself, mostly playing video games and training jiu jitsu. Lu used the phrase “checked out” while we were talking, and I jumped on that idea and finished writing the lyrics. It’s about escapism using digital media, be it through video games or social media, and avoiding the real world.” – Wes Jones

EMMA GARELL Releases New Single, “I Wanna See Blood”!

 I Wanna See Blood Cover

Richmond, VA based rock artist EMMA GARELL has released her newest single, “I Wanna See Blood.” Produced by Todd Wright of Halfking Studio in Northern, VA, “I Wanna See Blood” is available to download / stream via The Label Group / INgrooves.

Player

“I Wanna See Blood is a song about love gone wrong, your basic break up song that ends in a bloody mess. Sometimes love lost just leaves you angry…not sad…not lonely…just bloody angry. Break up songs come in a variety of styles, but this is my anger and my response to a broken heart, I hope people can relate. My two previous songs (Destination Anaheim and unreleased Mojo Man ) were more about the rock world in general. It wasn’t until I started working with Todd Wright that I found a way to express my inner feelings through my music. ‘I Wanna See Blood’ is the first of the songs that we wrote together that delve into my heart and soul. ” – Emma Garell

“I Wanna See Blood is a dancey jam, alternative-rock track about heartbreak and revenge. For fans of Billie Eilish and Mohawks.” – Dylan Lawson (guitarist for Emma Garell)

ROCK’N THE RICHMOND, VIRGINIA MUSIC SCENE WITH CLASSIC BLUES METAL INSPIRED ORIGINALS.

Emma Garell grew up using her singing voice to speak for her. She lulls the listener into a sense of whispered magic, then out of nowhere, she belts with the power of the greats. Friends have called her Princess of Darkness and Roberta Plant…the truth lies somewhere in between as she takes these influences and finds her own sound. Having a wide range of vocal gifts, you won’t be surprised to hear a wide array of musical styling, all within the power of a haunting voice.

If Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs was a bar fly in a gritty bar, singing on a Saturday night, you might come close to Emma Garell. One could see her paying homage to the song “Black Velvet” in leather and then fist-pumping the crowd to her Black Sabbath roots. The woman has a smooth growl with a punk’tude and

“Destination Anaheim” is only the beginning.- H. Reavis

With the release of her debut single early 2019, “Destination Anaheim,” Emma Garell is stepping into the rock spotlight with the strength and confidence of her role models and a freshly honed vocal style. FEUDALE Release Official Lyric Video for “Teenager”

Teenager FEUDALE

Matawan based Heavy, Alternative Rock Band FEUDALE has released the official lyric video for their new single, “Teenager,” which is out NOW via The Label Group / INgrooves.

Player

“We are thrilled to be partnering with TLG/Ingrooves for the upcoming release of our intoxicating nostalgic, new single ‘Teenager.’

We wrote ‘Teenager’ based on our own experiences living and growing up in New Jersey. There was always something charming about hanging out down the shore and shopping (maybe getting kicked out) of the Freehold Raceway Mall or vibing in our bedroom listening to Pink Floyd and Nirvana.

When writing ‘Teenager,’ we really wanted to encompass what it was like for us being teenagers. Our goal was to give our listeners a glimpse into our lives before becoming FEUDALE. It’s a song that will hopefully bring our listeners to a place in time that they will remember as magical, uncertain, and a ton of fun!” – FEUDALE

If you had to categorize the sound of the FEUDALE, it would be impossible because they are a category unto themselves. Based in Matawan, NJ, FEUDALE is a hard-rocking, blues inspired band, with a twist of alternative flare. What started as a part-time hobby for the band of brothers, eventually evolved into a full-time passion for writing, recording and playing varied styles of great music.

Over the last few years, Canadian alternative rock band Autopilot has become a staple in the Saskatoon indie music scene. Known for their thoughtful lyrics, powerful hooks, dynamic stage show, and obsessive hard work, they somehow seem to effortlessly walk the line between passionate art and massive appeal. Over the course of 3 full-length records, and one EP, they’ve become road warriors, touring relentlessly across Canada and the US. They’ve been praised for their tireless work ethic by publications like Canadian Musician Magazine, who called them “quite possibly one of the hardest working bands in the country.”

Autopilot’s highly anticipated new record Afterglow, their most impressive and accessible record to date, produced by legendary Saskatchewan producer, S.J. Kardash, and backed by their most ambitious marketing campaign yet, finds the band reaching for bigger sounds, bigger ideas, and much bigger audiences. The release of their new single “Undisguised” following the success of preceding singles “Living Dead” and “Weightless”, is proof positive of this growing momentum.

Marlon Harder, the driving creative force behind Autopilot, has a knack for finding beauty in simple moments, and hope in the challenges life tends to bring. Inspired by the early writing of Modest Mouse, he seemed to know very quickly what he wanted to do in life. After the release and College radio buzz of their first record Now It’s Time You Know What We’re Losing For, unexpected illness struck, effectively putting the band on the back burner for the foreseeable future. But he never quit writing. Health improved, lineups changed, and in 2013 they teamed up with S.J. Kardash for the release of Diamond Rough, a sophomore full-length forged in the fires of struggle, faith, and growing maturity. The record widely expanded their media exposure across North America; in print, online, commercial rock radio, CBC, podcasts, and through licensing placement on major US television networks.

Their 2015 release, Desert Dreams, reunited the band with Kardash, and represented a significant leap forward in both the ever expanding sound, and rapidly growing fan base the band had built strongly upon with 2013’s Diamond Rough. Along with debuting on Earshot’s Top 50 chart, Desert Dreams received heavy rotation on The VergeSirius XM’s Iceberg Radio, and garnered the attention of New York’s prestigious CMJ; while securing the band showcases at Toronto’s CMW and Indie Week festivals, AYE Fest in Cincinnati, Fairfield Revival Festival in Minnesota, and opening doors to tour extensively in the United States.

Autopilot has always been a dedicated touring band. In support of Diamond RoughDesert Dreams, and the 2017 release of the single “Hurricane” / “Crooked Lines”, the band spent countless months on the road touring across Canada and the United States. These tours have included stops at Jersey Shore FestivalMillennium Music Conference in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and a mainstage performance at Mesa Music Festival in Arizona supporting hard rock legends P.O.D. October 2018 marked the release of Afterglow, which chartered in the top 200 on the NACC North American College Charts as well as specialty radio in the US.

The future is truly wide open for Autopilot. Everything they’ve learned is on the table for 2019 while they continue to promote the release of Afterglow. They are casting their net wider, and going all in. Never content to sit still or play it safe, they’ve crafted a remarkable live show, and plan on spending as much time over the next year as possible, getting the new songs in front of as many new fans as they possibly can.
